Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 5, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Purposeful Paths LLC website, programs, events, workshops, speaking services, products, resources, communications, and other offerings.

In these Terms, “Purposeful Paths,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Purposeful Paths LLC. “You” and “your” refer to the individual, organization, church, business, event host, purchaser, participant, or website visitor using our services.

By accessing www.mypurposefulpaths.com, submitting an inquiry or application, registering for an event or program, purchasing a product or service, booking Jackey Collier, selecting a box indicating agreement, signing an agreement, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

  • Educational courses and events

  • Retreats and community gatherings

  • Books, workbooks, planners, guides, and other physical products

  • Digital downloads and online resources

  • Newsletters and educational communications

  • Other offerings announced through our website or communications

Specific details, pricing, schedules, deliverables, and conditions may vary by offering.

2. Separate Agreements and Offering-Specific Terms

Certain services may require a separate agreement, proposal, invoice, registration page, order form, participant agreement, speaker agreement, event agreement, release, or refund policy.

Examples include:

  • Speaking engagements

  • Facilitated workshops

  • Customized programs

  • Retreats

  • Venue-based events

  • Organizational partnerships

  • Services involving travel

  • Services requiring deposits or payment plans

The terms of a signed agreement, accepted proposal, registration page, or written offer will control if they conflict with these general Terms.

Email discussions or preliminary inquiries do not create a confirmed booking unless Purposeful Paths provides written confirmation and any required agreement and payment obligations have been completed.

3. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services, submit a booking request, or enter into an agreement with Purposeful Paths unless a parent or legal guardian provides authorization.

When registering, purchasing, or entering into an agreement on behalf of an organization, church, company, group, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to the applicable agreement.

Programs or events that permit minors may require permission, registration, or a release from a parent, legal guardian, school, church, or sponsoring organization.

4. Personal Development and Educational Disclaimer

Purposeful Paths programs, workshops, presentations, resources, and communications are provided for educational, informational, motivational, and personal-development purposes.

Purposeful Paths does not provide:

  • Medical care or medical advice

  • Mental health treatment

  • Psychotherapy

  • Psychological counseling

  • Crisis intervention

  • Legal advice

  • Financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice

  • Licensed clinical or professional services

Participation in a Purposeful Paths offering does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, financial adviser-client, or other licensed professional relationship.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional concerns.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional immediately.

5. Faith-Based Content

Some Purposeful Paths offerings may include Christian faith, prayer, Scripture, testimony, spiritual reflection, or faith-honoring principles.

The presence and extent of faith-based content may vary by program, event, audience, or host request.

Participation does not require you to adopt a particular belief. Participants are expected to treat differences in beliefs, backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives respectfully.

Purposeful Paths spiritual encouragement is not a substitute for professional pastoral counseling, mental health care, medical care, or other licensed services.

6. No Guarantees of Results

Purposeful Paths is committed to delivering thoughtful, high-quality services and resources.

However, we do not promise or guarantee any specific personal, professional, emotional, financial, health, spiritual, business, or other result.

Individual experiences vary.

Your results may depend on factors including:

  • Participation

  • Personal effort

  • Attendance

  • Application of the material

  • Decision-making

  • Personal circumstances

  • Resources

  • Health

  • Support systems

  • Timing

  • External events outside our control

Testimonials, participant stories, examples, and prior results describe individual experiences and do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.

7. Personal Responsibility

By participating in or relying upon a Purposeful Paths offering, you acknowledge that:

  • You remain responsible for your own choices, actions, decisions, safety, and results.

  • You will use your own judgment when applying information or recommendations.

  • You will seek qualified professional guidance when appropriate.

  • You are responsible for determining whether a program, activity, resource, or event is suitable for you.

  • Participation is voluntary unless otherwise established through a separate organizational agreement.

You agree not to hold Purposeful Paths responsible merely because a particular offering does not produce the result you hoped to achieve.

8. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when:

  • Submitting a speaking or event inquiry

  • Registering for a program or event

  • Completing an application

  • Making a purchase

  • Establishing a payment plan

  • Providing billing or shipping information

  • Communicating accessibility, travel, technology, or venue requirements

Purposeful Paths is not responsible for delays, missed communications, failed deliveries, scheduling problems, or other issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.

You are responsible for updating your contact information when it changes.

9. Speaking and Workshop Inquiries

Submitting the Book Jackey to Speak form or another inquiry form does not guarantee availability or acceptance.

Purposeful Paths may review factors including:

  • Requested date and time

  • Location

  • Audience

  • Event purpose

  • Topic

  • Format

  • Travel requirements

  • Budget

  • Technology needs

  • Alignment with Purposeful Paths’ mission and values

A speaking engagement or workshop is not considered confirmed until all required steps are completed. These may include:

  • Written acceptance

  • A signed agreement

  • Payment of a deposit or fee

  • Confirmation of event details

  • Completion of requested documentation

Purposeful Paths reserves the right to decline an inquiry that is not a suitable fit, conflicts with existing commitments, creates unreasonable safety or travel concerns, or does not align with our mission, values, services, or availability.

10. Host and Client Responsibilities

An organization or individual booking a speaking engagement, workshop, or event may be responsible for providing:

  • Accurate event information

  • A safe and accessible venue

  • Appropriate seating and room setup

  • Agreed audiovisual equipment

  • Reliable internet access when required

  • A designated onsite contact

  • Timely access to the venue

  • Parking or transportation information

  • Approved promotional language and materials

  • Travel, lodging, meals, or related arrangements when included in the agreement

  • Any required permits, insurance, staffing, security, or venue permissions

Additional responsibilities will be described in the applicable proposal or agreement.

11. Registration and Participation

Registration is subject to availability and may be limited by capacity, eligibility, program fit, location, or other reasonable requirements.

You may not register another adult without that individual’s knowledge and permission unless you are authorized to do so on behalf of an organization.

You are responsible for:

  • Arriving or signing in on time

  • Having the necessary technology for virtual offerings

  • Reviewing program details before registration

  • Completing any required forms

  • Conducting yourself respectfully

  • Following reasonable instructions and safety requirements

Failure to attend, participate, or complete a program does not automatically entitle you to a refund, credit, extension, or transfer.

12. Community Standards

Purposeful Paths is committed to creating experiences in which participants can feel seen, safe, supported, and strengthened.

Participants, guests, event hosts, contractors, and partners must not engage in:

  • Harassment

  • Bullying

  • Threats

  • Discrimination

  • Intimidation

  • Abusive or disruptive conduct

  • Repeated interruption

  • Unwanted solicitation

  • Unauthorized selling or promotion

  • Sharing confidential participant information

  • Recording without permission

  • Conduct that threatens the physical or emotional safety of others

  • Conduct that materially interferes with the event or experience

Purposeful Paths may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove a person who violates these standards.

When reasonably necessary to protect participants, staff, hosts, or the integrity of an offering, removal may occur without a refund.

13. Group Confidentiality

Participants may voluntarily share personal stories, reflections, experiences, or concerns during group programs, workshops, events, or online communities.

Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and not disclose another participant’s personal story, identity, comments, or information outside the group without permission.

However, Purposeful Paths cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.

You should use discretion when sharing sensitive or personal information.

Purposeful Paths may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a legal process, address a safety concern, prevent harm, enforce an agreement, or protect its rights or the rights of others.

14. Prices and Payment

Prices will be displayed or communicated before purchase, registration, or booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Payment is due at the time of purchase or according to the agreed payment schedule.

  • Prices are stated in United States dollars.

  • Applicable taxes, shipping charges, travel costs, processing charges, or additional expenses may be added where disclosed.

  • You authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information remains current and valid.

Purposeful Paths may correct a clear pricing or description error before fulfilling an order or confirming a service. If an error affects an existing purchase, you will be given an appropriate opportunity to accept the corrected terms or receive a refund of the affected payment.

15. Payment Plans

When a payment plan is offered, you agree to make every scheduled payment.

A payment plan is a commitment to pay the full purchase price and is not a pay-as-you-attend arrangement unless expressly stated otherwise.

If a scheduled payment fails, Purposeful Paths may:

  • Notify you of the failed payment

  • Attempt to process the payment again

  • Request an updated payment method

  • Suspend access to the program or materials

  • Withhold future services or deliverables

  • Cancel participation

  • Pursue lawful collection remedies

Removal from or failure to complete a program does not automatically cancel an unpaid balance.

Purposeful Paths may waive, adjust, or arrange payment terms in writing at its discretion.

16. Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers

Refund, cancellation, transfer, rescheduling, and credit policies may vary by product, service, event, or program.

The policy shown on the applicable sales page, registration page, proposal, invoice, order form, or signed agreement will govern that purchase.

Before purchasing or registering, you are responsible for reviewing:

  • Dates and times

  • Eligibility requirements

  • What is included

  • Payment obligations

  • Refund and cancellation terms

  • Transfer or rescheduling rules

  • Technology or travel requirements

Unless a specific written policy states otherwise:

  • All sales are final after a digital product has been accessed or downloaded.

  • Completed services are nonrefundable.

  • Missed sessions or events are nonrefundable.

  • Failure to use purchased materials or attend an offering does not create an automatic right to a refund.

  • Purchases may not be transferred to another person without written permission.

  • Deposits paid to reserve a speaking or workshop date may be nonrefundable as stated in the applicable agreement.

  • Approved refunds may be reduced by nonrefundable processing fees or expenses already incurred, when permitted and previously disclosed.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or cancellation rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

17. Purposeful Paths Cancellations and Rescheduling

Purposeful Paths may cancel, postpone, relocate, reschedule, modify, or convert an in-person offering to a virtual format when reasonably necessary.

Reasons may include:

  • Illness

  • Emergency

  • Severe weather

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Travel disruption

  • Low enrollment

  • Venue problems

  • Technology failure

  • Government action

  • Events outside our reasonable control

When Purposeful Paths cancels an offering entirely and does not provide a reasonable replacement, registrants will generally receive a refund or credit for the amount paid directly for that offering, subject to the applicable agreement.

Purposeful Paths is not responsible for a participant’s separately purchased airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, lost wages, childcare, or other incidental expenses unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise.

18. Force Majeure

Purposeful Paths will not be considered in breach of an agreement for delays, changes, or nonperformance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Fire

  • Flood

  • Epidemics or public health emergencies

  • War

  • Terrorism

  • Civil unrest

  • Government orders

  • Transportation shutdowns

  • Labor disputes

  • Utility outages

  • Internet or platform failures

  • Venue closure

  • Illness, injury, or family emergency

  • Other circumstances that make performance illegal, unsafe, impossible, or commercially unreasonable

The parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule, modify, credit, or otherwise resolve the affected obligation as provided in the applicable agreement.

19. Physical Products, Shipping, and Delivery

When Purposeful Paths sells or ships books, workbooks, planners, or other physical products:

  • You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.

  • Estimated delivery dates are not guarantees.

  • Shipping times may vary based on inventory, carrier performance, weather, holidays, and destination.

  • Risk of delay may pass to the carrier after shipment, subject to applicable law.

  • You should promptly report products that arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from the order.

If an order cannot be shipped within the timeframe originally stated, Purposeful Paths may provide a revised delivery estimate, cancellation option, replacement, credit, or refund as required by the circumstances and applicable law.

Purposeful Paths is not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect address supplied by the purchaser, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist.

20. Digital Products and Online Access

Digital materials may include:

  • Workbooks

  • Reflection guides

  • Templates

  • Planners

  • Videos

  • Audio recordings

  • Courses

  • Downloads

  • Online community access

  • Other electronic resources

Your purchase provides a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, and nontransferable right to access or use the material for its intended purpose.

You may not:

  • Share login credentials

  • Upload materials to a shared drive for unauthorized users

  • Resell or sublicense materials

  • Distribute copies

  • Post materials publicly

  • Remove copyright or ownership notices

  • Use the materials to create a competing product or program

  • Use automated systems to copy, download, scrape, or reproduce content

Access duration may vary and will be stated on the applicable offer when access is time-limited.

You are responsible for maintaining compatible devices, software, internet access, and account security.

21. Intellectual Property

The Purposeful Paths name, logo, branding, website content, program names, presentation materials, frameworks, exercises, worksheets, workbooks, videos, recordings, designs, graphics, photographs, written content, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Purposeful Paths and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Unless written permission is granted, materials are provided solely for the purchaser’s or participant’s personal, noncommercial use.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, sell, license, distribute, display, teach, facilitate, transmit, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit Purposeful Paths materials.

Purchasing a book, program, workshop, download, ticket, or service does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

Limited quotations may be used where permitted by law, provided appropriate credit is given and the use does not misrepresent Purposeful Paths or substitute for the original work.

22. Facilitator and Organizational Use

Purposeful Paths materials may not be used to facilitate, teach, reproduce, or operate a program for others unless Purposeful Paths has provided written authorization or a facilitator license.

Organizations purchasing multiple copies or group services receive only the rights expressly stated in the applicable agreement.

Unauthorized use of Purposeful Paths materials for a paid or unpaid workshop, ministry, class, program, event, coaching service, or commercial activity is prohibited.

23. User Submissions

You may voluntarily provide questions, comments, survey responses, feedback, testimonials, photographs, stories, or other content.

You retain ownership of your original content.

Submitting content privately for participation, customer service, an application, or evaluation does not automatically give Purposeful Paths permission to publish it.

Purposeful Paths will obtain appropriate permission before publicly using an identifiable testimonial, story, photograph, audio recording, or video for marketing or promotional purposes.

You represent that any content you submit:

  • Is accurate to the best of your knowledge

  • Is yours to submit

  • Does not violate another person’s rights

  • Does not contain unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or harmful material

  • Does not contain private information you lack permission to disclose

24. Photography and Recording

Purposeful Paths may photograph, livestream, or record certain public events, speaking engagements, workshops, or group activities.

When appropriate, notice will be provided through:

  • Registration materials

  • Event signage

  • Announcements

  • A written release

  • An agreement with the event host

You may not photograph, livestream, audio-record, video-record, screenshot, transcribe, or distribute a private program, paid workshop, virtual session, presentation, or participant discussion without prior permission.

Recording permission granted to an event host does not automatically permit public distribution, resale, editing, rebroadcast, or commercial use. Recording and usage rights should be stated in the applicable agreement.

25. Website Use

You may use the Purposeful Paths website only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or related systems

  • Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code

  • Interfere with website security or operation

  • Scrape or harvest information through automated means

  • Impersonate another person or organization

  • Submit fraudulent inquiries, registrations, or purchases

  • Use the website to harass or harm others

  • Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights

  • Use the website for unlawful or unauthorized commercial solicitation

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

26. Third-Party Services and Links

Purposeful Paths may use or link to third-party services, including:

  • Payment processors

  • Customer relationship management platforms

  • Email and SMS providers

  • Scheduling platforms

  • Website hosts

  • Video-conferencing platforms

  • Social media platforms

  • Shipping carriers

  • Analytics tools

Purposeful Paths does not control the availability, security, privacy practices, content, or performance of independent third-party services.

Your use of a third-party platform may also be governed by that platform’s terms and privacy policy.

A link to another website does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee.

27. Email and SMS Communications

By providing your contact information, you agree to receive communications reasonably related to:

  • An inquiry

  • Registration

  • Purchase

  • Booking

  • Application

  • Payment

  • Event

  • Program

  • Product delivery

  • Customer-service request

Marketing email or SMS messages will be sent in accordance with the consent you provide and applicable law.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by selecting the unsubscribe link in the message.

You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent Purposeful Paths from sending necessary transactional or service-related messages concerning an active purchase, agreement, registration, or request.

Consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of purchase.

28. Suspension or Termination

Purposeful Paths may suspend or terminate access to an offering, account, community, program, event, or resource when a person:

  • Fails to make required payments

  • Violates these Terms

  • Violates community standards

  • Infringes intellectual-property rights

  • Threatens or harasses another person

  • Misuses confidential information

  • Engages in fraud or illegal activity

  • Materially disrupts a program or event

  • Creates a safety or security risk

Termination does not automatically eliminate outstanding payment obligations or create a right to a refund.

Provisions concerning payment, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and other terms that logically should continue will survive termination.

29. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purposeful Paths services, content, materials, products, and website are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

Purposeful Paths does not warrant that:

  • The website will always be uninterrupted or error-free

  • Every technical issue will be corrected immediately

  • A service will meet every individual expectation

  • Information will always be complete or suitable for every circumstance

  • Third-party platforms will remain continuously available

  • Participation will produce a particular result

Nothing in this section excludes warranties or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

30. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Purposeful Paths LLC, Jackey Collier, and their contractors, representatives, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

  • Use of or inability to use the website or services

  • Participation in a program, workshop, speaking engagement, or event

  • Reliance on educational or personal-development information

  • Loss of data

  • Lost profits, opportunities, income, or business

  • Acts or omissions of another participant, host, venue, contractor, platform, or service provider

  • Unauthorized access to information despite reasonable safeguards

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purposeful Paths’ total liability concerning a particular paid offering will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Purposeful Paths for that specific offering during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

31. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purposeful Paths LLC, Jackey Collier, and their representatives from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of the website or services

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Content you submit without proper rights or permission

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights

  • Your conduct as an event host, organization, purchaser, or participant

This provision does not require you to indemnify Purposeful Paths for conduct for which indemnification is prohibited by law.

32. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact Purposeful Paths and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

Please send a written description of the concern, relevant transaction information, and the requested resolution to:

[email protected]

Purposeful Paths will make a reasonable effort to review and respond.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent legal relief when necessary to prevent immediate harm or protect intellectual-property, confidentiality, or other legal rights.

33. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless the parties agree otherwise in writing or applicable law requires another location, legal proceedings concerning these Terms will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

You and Purposeful Paths consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

34. Electronic Communications and Acceptance

You agree that electronic communications, records, notices, agreements, confirmations, and signatures may satisfy legal requirements that such communications be in writing, subject to applicable law.

Your affirmative acceptance through a checkbox, electronic signature, payment, registration, signed agreement, or continued use after receiving notice may create a binding agreement.

You are responsible for retaining copies of relevant confirmations, agreements, receipts, and policies for your records.

35. Changes to Services

Purposeful Paths may update, modify, discontinue, or replace any website feature, product, program, resource, service, or offering.

When changes materially affect an existing paid agreement, the applicable agreement and law will determine the parties’ rights.

We are not obligated to continue offering any particular service indefinitely.

36. Changes to These Terms

Purposeful Paths may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, operations, technology, or legal requirements.

The revised Terms will be posted with an updated effective date.

Material changes may also be communicated through email, website notice, registration materials, or another reasonable method.

Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law or an agreement permits otherwise.

Your continued use of the website or services after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

37. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

38. Waiver

A failure by Purposeful Paths to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

Any waiver must be provided in writing to be effective.

39. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable proposal, invoice, registration page, refund policy, signed agreement, or release constitute the agreement between you and Purposeful Paths concerning the applicable offering.

They replace prior discussions or representations concerning the same subject, except where the parties expressly agree otherwise in writing.
